We look beyond labels to support you

  • Are you involved in selling sex indoors, escorting, in a massage parlour, online or on the street?
  • Are you looking for support?
  • Are you looking for a route out and wanting to make changes?
  • Maybe you see yourself as someone who got into sex work but you are feeling isolated and not sure whom to talk to?
  • Perhaps you are being forced into it and don’t know where to turn.

Our “Beyond Support” staff team are here to listen and to help you find your next steps.

We can support you by:

  • Listening and understanding
  • Advising you about support services near you
  • Providing a safe place to explore your options for change, allowing you to choose your next steps
  • Giving you relevant information on what’s out there to help you plan for for the future

Women’s Support Workers are available to take your call Monday – Thursday 9am – 4pm, and Friday 9am – 12:30pm.

If no Woman Support Worker is available to take your call, or you call outside of these times, please leave your mobile phone number or email address and we will contact you back.

The Women’s Support Workers answering your call have a wealth of experience with supporting any women who is involved in the sex industry, has been involved in the past, or is considering selling sex in any context.

If we miss your call, we’ll contact you back and arrange a support call with you. 

The times offered for ongoing support sessions are currently Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9am-4pm and Fridays 9am-12:30pm. If for any reason this option does not work on an ongoing basis, please do let us know.

Protecting you

We are a team run by women for women. We are a team who are experienced in working with adult women in complex situations and have the ability to access a wide network of practitioners across the UK.

We’re a confidential call-back phone or email service, here to listen and support you as you make decisions about your life and to give you information if you feel you need it. We work as a team and keep what you tell us confidential within the team.

We are unable to work with those who are Under 18 years of age. (For more information please contact the NSPCC or Childline for support).

Have you heard of National Ugly Mugs? It’s an independent reporting system for those in the sex industry, you can sign up for free and get alerts about clients to avoid, they have a number checker and email checker to help you screen clients, and you can submit your own reports of dodgy/dangerous clients to them – you can look on their website or you can call them on 0161 629 9861 and speak to one of their case work team to get some more information
