This year, we celebrate our 20th Birthday! To help us celebrate we’d like to invite you to take a stand and join us on the streets of London on our first ever sponsored Street Walk.
On the Saturday 16th November 2019 we want you to walk with us across London to take a stand for women whose voices are often unheard. Starting in Spitalfields at 7.30pm we will walk 12k along the Southbank to the London Eye and back (a 2 1/2 -3 1/2 hour walk)
You will get to enjoy the sights of the Thames at night and visit the location of the Cross Bones graveyard and learn about London’s hidden past. Walk in solidarity with those, past and present, who have been sexually exploited in the capital. It’s a chance to learn more from their stories of selling sex to survive, celebrate the strength of women overcoming adversity and fundraise to support our vital services that support women today. Read all about it here and sign up today.
If you can’t join us in London we’d like to invite you to give us a birthday gift of £20 to mark this milestone and to enable us to continue to support women UK wide to take steps towards a life safe from exploitation.
The women Beyond the Streets supports are drawn into prostitution as a result of complex vulnerabilities and as a last resort response to insurmountable struggles. Our work is a crucial first step in the process towards helping those experiencing multiple disadvantages to find freedom from the issues they face and lasting routes out of prostitution – the support raised by the November Campaign will fund this crucial work, continuing our twenty year legacy.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a neglected cause and ensure we can be around to support women for the next 20 years.
