Corporate Giving

Aligning your brand with Beyond the Streets will not simply help us raise vital funds, but by standing with us, you’ll also be supporting our work to challenge societal attitudes and increase awareness of the issues facing the women we journey alongside every day.

We welcome the opportunity to work with companies and businesses that share our commitment to ensure women are not compelled to sell sex, due to coercion, poverty, violence, and other abuses of vulnerability; to work in partnership to challenge the stigma faced by those that are involved in selling, to eliminate “survival sex” and more broadly to end violence against women and girls.

There are many ways you can support us, previously corporates and businesses have done this through one off monetary donations and via gifting resources that aid our frontline services and other areas of our work.

Alternatively, you could  book a bespoke version of our alternative history tour in the East End for a Team Day activity. Moving forward, we’re looking to also create unique longer term partnerships that meet your business needs whilst addressing our aims and sustainability. If you would like more information about a future partnership or us becoming your ‘charity of the year’, or to discuss a donation, you can talk to a member of our small fundraising team through contacting office@beyondthestreets.org.uk

Attend our walking tour

Book your next team day in East London and make a difference to women’s lives in the area today. Your team will learn about London’s hidden herstory, focusing on the lives of the victims of ‘Jack the Ripper’. Alongside learning the similarities between the multiple disadvantages faced by those women and the women we support today in the same area.

Our bespoke team tours last around 100 minutes, but can be adapted to suit your needs. They are led by guides who have experience with frontline volunteering on our street outreach support.

Resource donation

We have had many companies provide us with resources for frontline services as well as to support event fundraising. We’ve included a few examples above.

We always need essential items for women to help meet their basic needs, including addressing food poverty, as well as resources for our drop-ins. If you think your organisation could help contribute towards this crucial support, please contact our member of staff Emma at Office@beyondthestreets.org.uk, or call 0300 302 1122.

More ways to help

Donating from your salary

What Is It?

It’s a simple way to support Beyond the Streets’ work, by donating a monthly gift directly from your salary. This method is of great benefit to us as an organisation since regular giving enables us to better understand levels of future donations and helps us to protect our vital frontline services.

Payroll Giving – how it works

The money comes out of your salary before the tax is deducted. This makes your gift worth more because it includes money that would have gone to the Inland Revenue instead. Don’t worry, this  means there is no extra cost to you!

For example, choosing to donate £10 a month will actually only cost you £8 if you are a basic rate taxpayer (even less as a higher rate taxpayer).

How to Set Up Payroll Giving

The process is simple, all you need to ask if your employer operates a payroll giving scheme; if they do, they should be able to provide you with a form you need to complete.

The form will allow you to say who you want to support and an amount you would like to donate each month from your salary. Some employers are open to matching your donation, so do check if this is a way you could raise even more funds to support our work.

If your employer doesn’t currently operate a payroll giving scheme, perhaps you could be the employee to encourage this to be on offer?  We can recommend platforms that make this process simple for an organisation to set up.

If you would like more information, please email Laura.cotton@beyondthestreets.org.uk

Office team fundraiser

What better way for staff to bond than to hold an office fundraiser?

Why not fulfil corporate social responsibility while having some fun and healthy competition in your team by:

  • Hosting a quiz
  • Setting up a bake-off challenge (everyone’s a winner!)
  • Release your inner child and have a fancy dress party
  • What about a table tennis competition during Wimbledon fortnight
  • Include a raffle at your next office party

Simply click ‘fundraise’ on our Enthuse donations platform to get started.

Quick and easy ways to fundraise for businesses:

Order an office ink cartridge collection box to raise funds while you recycle!
Need to buy stationary for the office? Consider using easy fundraising to make your purchase make a difference. You can also encourage staff to get the easy fundraising app and raise funds while they shop at no extra cost to them!

Beyond the Streets is a UK charity
who sees the possibility of life
beyond sexual exploitation.
